Sponsor opportunity - Paint & Connect program for library. Program will happen no matter what, but if FOSL willing to donate up to $250 for program, that is helpful. FOSL vote: Yes. Will donate $250
Voting box for 2nd movie needs to be created: 2nd movie choices will be: Dogman, Minecraft Movie, Wallace and Grommit - Vengeance Most Fowl
T-shirt design. Deanna created 4 t-shirt designs with Fossil the dinosaur mascot on it. Two were selected to turn into t-shirts in kids and adults sizes to be sold at summer events (Sumas Days, movies, etc). Designs choices were 1) Having fun isn’t hard when you have a library card 2) Sleep is good, reading is better. Considering having stickers made of a 3rd design: I tried to form a gang, but it turned into a book club.
Sumas Days: have mystery note cards/book recommendations for people. These books will be available to check out at the Sumas Library booth next door. Sarah will update the book recommendation form. Deadline to recommend books is June 1.
Firework donation. Does FOSL want to donate $250 for fireworks for Sumas Days? Voted on, approved to donate.
Parade volunteers for Sumas Days. FOSL needs volunteers to be in parade. Minimum 3 people - 2 to help Fossil mascot (Deanna) as it is very difficult to see when the costume is on, and one to pull a wagon. Sarah, Brett and Robin volunteered to be in parade. WCLS will have the bookmobile in the parade and provide items such as bubble shooters, streamers and stickers, along with a sound system and a music playlist. Sumas Days details to be finalized at June meeting.
Flyers & bookmarks - need to design a flyer for Movie in the Park, bookmarks to pass out at Sumas Days/parade, and book recommendation display cards. Cayla will contact the FOSL graphic designer to begin work on these items.
End of summer carnival - some talk of the Chamber or other Chamber members sponsoring or being a part of this event. Maybe have Ballistic Brew come to event, or have it at movie nights?

Sad news: FOSL member Tera Kennedy passed away; memorial for her friends will occur in the future
