Review calendar of events created during last meeting
Attempt to tie FOSL events with existing WCLS events
Thanks to Brett for the after-event emails, but Brett also forgot to get FOSL event write-ups in for Explorations so that is a wash
Guaranteed FOSL Events:
- Movie in the Park #1 - Emperor’s New Groove (?) on July 25
  - move to Sycamore Park
- Movie in the Park #2 - Minecraft (?) on September 5
  - postponed 1 week from previously planned
  - move to Sycamore Park
  - community vote between Dogman, Minecraft, and Wallace
- Fall Carnival on August 23
- Valentine and Wine 2026
  - Rename for next year: Sips & Savor, Wine & Wonders
  - Cater this next year?
- Bingo sometime mid November
  - check with schools to avoid event conflict

Blockers
- Same people do most of the work, need to distribute to keep it sustainable. Issue is with not having clearly defined “helper” roles for those not in leadership
  - we need volunteers!
  - What do we need, and when
  - Play to volunteer strengths (volunteer for specific role) and interests
- Plan out specific roles to distribute work and minimize last minute event prep
- Sarah made/working on volunteer event roles
Storage options
- Sumas Library shed new lock and shelves
- Work to consolidate storable FOSL items in shed, with more expensive or sensitive items stored with Brett and Sarah
Create inventory list, including perishables
Book recommendations for Sumas Days
- recommend a mystery book form
- library have recommended books available to check out at event
- Sarah to make forms
- “Heard it from a friend”
Leadership change
- Proposal to change FOSL leadership every 2 years
- Coming up on 2 years for current leadership
- Need new bylaws as old ones are outdated and need work (Brett to look into this)
FOSL Merch
- Brett to reach out to potential vendors for custom shirts — multiple sizes with black or white design on a solid color shirt
- Prior shirts by French Press Designs and a new recommendation used by FEL
