Outstanding disbursement:
- $85.32 - to Cayla - for Trunk or Treat items, annual Secretary of State fee, and hot chocolate
- $66.46 - to Nancy for cotton candy supplies

Santa in the Park - Monday Dec. 2nd.
- Was a success…sold all the baked good and a lot of the cotton candy. The cotton candy may do better if the event is held indoors because many kids did not want to take off their gloves to eat it. Made $126 (- cost of cotton candy supplies, but the supplies will last A LONG time). FOSL approached by Sunny (City of Sumas Public Works Director) to help organize Santa in the Park next year…maybe have it inside? Ideas were to have Santa in the library for photos, with an “on deck” area in the adult section where kids could do crafts. Others waiting could be at the Community/Senior Center enjoying cocoa, music, etc. Carols should have mics as they were hard to hear (this may not be necessary if they are inside next year). Will revisit this in Fall of 2025.
- Christmas Eve Dinner - This is not a FOSL event, but members of FOSL are willing to volunteer and also donate food items. Dinner will be held Christmas Eve at the Community/Senior Center from 3pm - 5pm, followed by BINGO from 5pm - 6pm. - Holiday decor - library was decorated by Meg K., her son and his friend. Decor looks great and very wintery festive. FOSL also purchased 2 wreaths to hang outside of the library doors.

Valentine’s and Wine - see Valentine and Wine to do list for detailed items
- Newlywed game should be renamed so it can include couples and friends that go (Nancy has heard from one person who plans to attend with her friends, not as a couple).
- Also discussed specifics of silent auction, update to flyers, needed info on registration form, lack of chocolate fountain equipment and possible alternatives.
