Halloween Bingo
A community bingo afternoon at the Sumas Library with prizes and treats.
Event Description
Doors open at 2:00 PM, games start at 2:30 PM
Join Friends of the Sumas Library for our annual Fall Bingo night! Play bingo, win prizes, and enjoy treats with your neighbors. This event is for community members of any age group from Sumas and our surrounding areas.
Join us at the Sumas Community Center on 461 2nd Street, located in the same building as the Sumas Library.
This is a free event, but space is limited.
Bingo
Our plan is to run our game of bingo similar to last time: a pile of prizes and no limits on your victories! When luck vists you often, we believe you should get the benefits.
Costumes Encouraged!
No matter your age, we encourage you to celebrate the Halloween holiday by wearing a costume. If not, we ask that you only mildly judge those of us wearing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles costume as an adult.
Collect Your Sticker
If you have attended a FOSL event this year, you likely received a free sticker featuring unique, event-specific art. We are so proud of these and the work done by our very own Deanna & Heather Lambert.
Our last two stickers of the year can be earned on Halloween by attending our bingo event and later finding us at Trunk-or-Treak. We typically only give these out at our own events, but our mascot Fossil wearing a costume was too cute to not do! See you there!
Special Thanks
Events like this aren’t free to host. Countless untracked hours are spent planning, promoting, and running each event. These simply would not happen without our dedicated group of FOSL volunteers and behind-the-scenes “friends of the friends”. You know who you are are!
Additionally, FOSL would like to directly thank Ethos West Construction. Ethos West is a general contractor located in Bellingham. Beyond having done work in our city, Ethos West has taken care of the financial cost of this event. They fully funded not just the treats and prizes, but also funded the purchase of replacement bingo equipment. The bingo equipment, like much of the supplies stored in the community center, was lost in the 2025 flood. We are beyond grateful to Kenny and the crew at Ethos West for their continued interest in our small city.
Thank you Ethos West Construction!
