Event Description
Join Friends of the Sumas Library (FOSL) for an unforgettable evening of fun, laughter, and community at the inaugural Valentine & Wine 2025 event! Celebrate the season of love with a cozy, adult-only gathering featuring delightful drinks, light bites, and exciting entertainment—all while supporting a great cause!
Tickets must be purchased in advance so preorder your tickets now, space is limited!
This exclusive 21+ event will take place after hours at the Sumas Library & Senior Center, where ticket holders will enjoy:
- Two drink vouchers: Choose from a selection of wine or beer (more details to come soon!)
- Delicious charcuterie: A delectable spread to snack on while mingling
- The Newlywed-ish Game: A lighthearted, interactive game where pairs (couples, friends, family, roommates, etc.) can compete to see how well they know each other! Watch hilarious moments as volunteer pairs from the audience answer quirky questions about each other, with the audience invited to play along!
- Silent Auction: Bid on exciting themed baskets full of amazing items, with waves of auction lots to keep the fun rolling throughout the evening!
Not looking for love? No problem! Whether you’re coming with a partner, friends, or flying solo, this community gathering is for everyone looking to enjoy a great time together.

Ticket Information
Tickets are $20 each and include entry, 2 drink vouchers, charcuterie, and access to all the event activities. This is a 21+ event, so ID will be checked at the door.
Please note that no physical or digital tickets are sent out. You will receive an automated receipt after making your purchase. After FOSL receives payment notification, we will reach out to you by email within a few days for details to add your party to our guest list.
Important Details
- Event Entry: Once the event begins, only ticket holders will be allowed in the building. Entry will be limited to ticketed guests, with ID verification at the door.
- Drink Selection: Wine and beer selection details are coming soon!
- Auction Baskets: Themed auction baskets will be available for bidding, with new batches opening at different intervals throughout the evening.
Why Attend?
All proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will directly benefit FOSL’s Movie in the Park series, providing free outdoor films to the community during the summer months. Your participation helps keep these fun, family-friendly movie nights going strong!
Need a babysitter?
Family Martial Arts is concurrently hosting their Parent’s Night Out: Superhero child care event. While our two groups and respective events are not associated, FOSL appreciates Family Martial Arts for providing babysitting options for those wishing to attend Valentine & Wine 2025.
